The ground floor of the two story building houses the living areas, kitchen, and entertainment room. The glass curtain walls [5] open on either side, extending the outdoor space to the inside, creating an effect of a home without walls. Kogan [6] made the ceiling of the large space just under 8 feet high to make the space cozy.

The entertainment room opens onto timber decks [7]on either side, which lead to small gardens and a dipping pool. Within the deck, trees are planted, providing shade throughout the deck area and fresh air which wafts indoors [8]. Ivy lines much of the outside, including the rectangular window which bisects the length of the living room and supports the second floor.

The second floor section, above the living room, houses the bedrooms, which also open onto timber decks. Wooden brises soleil [9] create privacy in the bedrooms while filtering daylight inside. The master suite is adjacent to a timber solarium, which features a private fire pit for grilling or keeping warm.

The entire property, amidst the hustle and bustle of São Paulo [10], is protected by a stone wall, giving the open air home privacy.
