Halloween has come and gone and you might have already plowed through all of your collected treats, but luckily we’ve got some eye candy for you to feast on – the fabulousfinalists from our Green Halloween Costume Contest! We were totally impressed (and in some cases terrified) by the flood of creative costumes we received and we’ve narrow them down to a select few that really showed what DIY eco costume making is all about. Check out John Grimes’ soda tabtastic version of the Black Knight from the hit classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The chainmail sleeves are made entirely out of soda can tabs and the helmet is a garbage can!

Erin Poling used packing peanuts for the rice, spray painted a foam matress pad for the shrimp, used ribbon for the seaweed wrap, and felt for the ginger and wasabi headpiece.
