Carolyn Joan Lau’s Nourishment Lamp transforms commonplace plastic bottles into beautiful organic forms reminiscent of coral reefs. The lamps are made from bottles of Yakult, a Japanese probiotic milk drink that is similar to yogurt. The Nourishment Lamp capitalizes on the bottles’ distinctive, aesthetically pleasing shape, although the design is so simple and elegant that it would translate well to any type of bottle
