Nourishment LampHoping to put use to the waste produced in her kitchen, Joan Lau collected all her used Yakult bottles and began constructing these stunning honeycomb lamps. The plastic bottles were perforated on the bottom to accommodate a series of plastic ties which connect them together. The result is a warm, orb-like series of lamps that live up to their name and satiate anyone’s hunger for a sophisticated aesthetic. Lau’s Nourishment Lamps are currently leading the popular vote in our Bright Ideas Design Contest with over 1078 votes (and counting)!
