  • Nourishment Lamp
Hoping to put use to the waste produced in her kitchen, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/bright-ideas-competition/glowing-nourishment-lamp-made-from-plastic-bottles/">Joan Lau</a> collected all her used Yakult bottles and began constructing these stunning honeycomb lamps. The plastic bottles were perforated on the bottom to accommodate a series of plastic ties which connect them together. The result is a warm, orb-like series of lamps that live up to their name and satiate anyone’s hunger for a sophisticated aesthetic. Lau’s <a href="http://inhabitat.com/bright-ideas-competition/glowing-nourishment-lamp-made-from-plastic-bottles/">Nourishment Lamps</a> are currently leading the popular vote in our <a href="http://inhabitat.com/bright-ideas-competition/">Bright Ideas Design Contest</a> with over 1078 votes (and counting)! If you want to see this lamp take the cake, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/bright-ideas-competition/glowing-nourishment-lamp-made-from-plastic-bottles/">vote for it here</a>! <h3><big><big><a href="http://inhabitat.com/bright-ideas-competition/glowing-nourishment-lamp-made-from-plastic-bottles/">VOTE FOR THE NOURISHMENT LAMP HERE &gt;</a></big></big></h3>
