It’s really nice, still we’ve seen some of these subway stations as sleek and futuristic settings. When the Washington DC subway first opened in the mid 70’s it looked like a set from Stanley Kubrick’s “2001”. The trains were so gleaming, so quiet, so fast. Today subway cars are being covered with graffiti, stations are getting grimy, and crime is becoming a serious worry. And over-powering mildew odors during wet weather. This may be just the future of these fanciful stations after a decade or two. Overall, pure white is never timeless. It’s not a good color for clothing, automobiles or interior finishes.
