Gallery: 300 Year Old Barn Renovated Into a Modern Yet Rustic Residence

There's nothing like a good barn conversion, and the Hillcott Barn in Hereford, UK is a fantastic example. The 300 year old stone barn was originally used for threshing wheat, but the owners wanted to renovate it into their home. With the expertise of UK-based RRA Architects and prefab off-site manufacturing, the barn was transformed into an ultra modern abode that continued to cherish the delicate and historic elements of the original construction. Natural ventilation and daylighting also played a huge role in the design and construction of the adapted home.

    I LOVE these barn doors – am looking to replace our 30yr old ‘traditional timber framed’ barn doors with something which has the ‘wow’ factor. can you please let me know who supplied these. Many thanks, Rae
