Bike Wheel Clock

This cool clock by stuffmadefromstuff was made from an old recycled aluminum bike wheel. The wheels are used and will, according to the maker, and show signs of past use, scratches, dings, etc. To get rid of some of the grime, each wheel has been scrubbed and cleaned up.

Aquarium Phone Booth

With the rise of the mobile phone, old phone booths have come in the market for reuse. Artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino turned one into an aquarium for the Lyon Light Festival in France. Speaking about their design, “With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically colored fish; an invitation to escape and travel.”
