Tofu Kebabs

Everybody loves a kebab, and the key to a successful tofu kebab is removing the water from extra firm tofu. Before cutting your tofu into cubes, first slice it into sheets, then firmly press the sheets between two clean, dry cloths. Once the excess water has been removed from the tofu, cut it into cubes and toss with other veggies in your favorite marinade, and let soak for 30 minutes. Skewer and grill for about 10 minutes and enjoy!

    Nice info! although one of the recipes are towards vegetarians than vegans.. but still good ones to try! :)

    love the chilli lime tofu! the recipe didn’t say to marinate it, but i did anyway for an hour or so. longer is probably better but i couldn’t wait!

    Lori, here is a new product called EZ Tofu Press. It presses the water out of firm and extra firm tofu allowing better flavor absorption and texture! Here is the instructional video link.
