Gravel paths and roads abound at this Japanese farm, and the family has 8 large industrial vehicles parked outside the house. Beyond the gravel park lot are beautiful fields and woodlands, which would be easily visible from inside the house — if you could see past the vehicles that is. The solution to the unsightly view was to block the machines completely with a yard – raised a whole story off the ground. A new second story yard was thus designed, creating a green roof and shading the vehicles parked below while completely blocking them from view.
