Voyage LED Boat Art Installation by Aether & HemeraVoyage is an art installation by Aether & Hemera that consists of a flotilla of 300 paper boats sailing along Canary Wharf's Middle Dock. Each boat is illuminated by colored LED lights that form attractive patterns and enliven the night. Passers-by can interact with the artwork until February 15 2013 between dusk and 2am each day to change colors and patterns by connecting their mobile phone to the Voyage Wi-Fi network. The artists’ artistic vision was to "provoke memories, explore aesthetic interactions, and to elicit feelings of connective human experiences in a required-to-participate audience." The project was been commissioned by Canary Wharf Group to ‘launch’ their 2013 ‘Sculpture at Work’ program.1
