Gallery: Alemagou Restaurant in Mykonos Takes Inspiration from Traditio...


Set on an idyllic beach on Mykonos island in Greece, the Alemagou Bar and Restaurant was designed to sit in harmony with its natural site, rather than exist in discord. Designed by Studio-K, the seaside structure was built in the island’s typical Cycladic style, which is characterized by whitewashed, smooth-edged constructions. Local materials were employed throughout the building, and come to include a reed-thatch and dry gourds that have been transformed into beautiful hanging lights.

    Oh, a smell of summer! Mykonos is such a beautiful place.. too bad it is overpriced!
