Amaya Gutierrez works with a team of Hispanic women in Los Angeles to produce her beautiful Bdoja Chairs, which are inspired by textiles found in her hometown of Oaxaca, Mexico. Gutierrez always works with the underlying intention that the style and durability of her products will limit further consumption in the future. The chair is a wonderful piece of sustainable, high-end furniture made from 100% cotton cord wrapped around a steel wire base.
