Today is the last day for our Green Halloween Costume Contest, meaning you only have a few hours left to vote for your favorite DIY costume! Right now, the hand-sewn burlap sack and paper mache Character 9 from Tim Burton's movie 9 is in the lead, with the awesomely upcycled Tesco Warrior Princess made from plastic supermarket bags not far behind. We were super impressed with the entries in our 2011 Green Halloween Contest, including some really imaginative ones like Rob Miller’s awesome costume that replicates the famous pose of Han Solo when he is frozen in carbonite and Beth Gallagher’s Umbrell-ie-fish costume made out of a clear umbrella, bubble wrap, ribbon, and battery powered lights.
