The structure, floated on the Nong Prajut swamp, is shaped like a giant lotus flower with a prominent bud and petals at its base. It is roughly 12 meters around and 7 meters tall and features all kinds of projected mapping images. Although images are flashed onto the colorful petals, the bud is the main screen, where traditional folk stories of King Bhumibol and the Udonthani region were also displayed.

Because of the materials used, it seems to us that the lotus can be disassembled and re-used, though it must be said that Thai ceremonies are historically quite flamboyant. But given the floods that have destroyed so much of the country and all of the stress that must have caused, a little bit of colorful excess is okay, no?
