Jay Behr Sausalito ResidenceEvery year, the San Francisco chapter of the American Institute of Architects invites the public to tour a selection of outstanding homes in Marin County, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. The 2012 Marin Living: Home Tours took place on a gorgeous sunny afternoon last weekend, and we trekked over to Sausalito to check out a couple of the homes. First on our list was a modernist home designed by Jay Behr Design and Ewald Tajbaksh Architecture that is perched on a hillside overlooking Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay.1
