Atlanta’s Botanical Garden is getting a modern twist on holiday lights this year and it involves glowing rows of LEDs! A collaboration with the Lighting Science Group and CD + M Lighting and Design Group, their exhibition “Garden Lights, Holiday Nights” will feature a line of orb-like LED lights in vibrant colors. Almost one million lights glitter around the botanical garden’s grounds, creating an LED winter wonderland!

    This post really made me want to visit this place. I want to know how it feels to be in this amazing garden. It’s really beautiful.

    10 watts? Really? In total?

    Think I’d like to see some more documentation on that… the pictures seem way to bright given the brightness of even today’s more efficient LEDs.

    Hopefully this is a true thing and not a mistake.
