Moving away from the block buildings of old, ZNA Architects has proposed an open, airy circular green program for the Baidu Science and Technology Campus in Beijing. Incorporating a massive park as its nucleus, the 170,120 square meter campus also extends the surrounding green space so that the two are almost indistinguishable from one another. Surrounding this carbon sponge is a circular "street" that connects the university's numerous work functions.
