We have yet to come across a Baumraum treehouse that hasn't rocked our socks, so when we heard that they recently broke ground on the Schrems Treehouse Resort in Austria, we had to take a closer look. Sure enough, the team acquired a gorgeous piece of property on the site of an abandoned quarry that also overlooks a lake and the Naturpark Schrems Nature Reserve. The resort will be partitioned into 5 different sections, each of which will have its building or set of buildings. Some of these are timber structures that respect their natural environment, others are intrepid cliff houses, and yes, there will be two tree houses on the property's northern edge that are bound to become the most coveted rooms of all.
