Nestled in the rolling hills of West Marin, the large family ranch is designed to <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/net-zero-energy" target="_blank">net-zero energy</a> standards and is powered by a remote photovoltaic array. The compound is complemented by a drought-resistant, native grass landscape designed by <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/swa-group/" target="_blank">SWA Group</a>.1
