Gallery: Best of Green Furniture Design at ICFF 2011!

The students at Pratt never fail to amaze us with their ingenuity. Case in point: this iconic folded felt table.

These incredible LED lamps by Aqua Creations are each made from a single, hand-folded sheet of paper.

Japanese company Aki showcased their awesome 3D cardboard sculptures – including this adorable piggie and a moving robot!

While other companies brought home furnishings to the show, Puck and Blossom brought an actual home – the prefab ZipCabin to be more specific!

We couldn’t help but be mesmerized by Aqua Creations‘ incredible hanging Gail 3 lamps, which are illuminated with CFLs and wrapped with handmade silk shades.

This colorful space divider from Grain is made of reclaimed paper tube rolls from the garment district.

Art of Board breathes new life into old skateboard decks by turning them into colorful tiles with tons of character.

We were excited to see Strida’s newest folding bike on display at the Areaware booth.

    Love the Plumen light; I saw these a couple months ago and think the concept is really cool and provides great eye candy and an alternative to the typical light bulb. Thanks!
