Milan Design Week is wrapping up, and we’re getting into gear for the best of BKLYN Designs! One piece of furniture that has already caught our eye is this Lucky Beam bench by Brooklyn-based eco-design house Katch Design. Made from 100% recyclable aluminum, this bench features a solvent free powder coat finish and a reclaimed Heart Pine seat coated with an all-natural, 100% sustainable, petroleum-free, zero-VOC oil base. With a design concept that pays respect to New York City’s ubiquitous subway station I-beams, the Lucky Beam adds just the right touch of urban freshness to funkify any space — outdoors or in!
