Bliss House by Bliss SpacesTalk about speedy construction! The Bliss House in North London is the brainchild of developers Bliss Spaces, who completed their first project earlier this year. Located at 25 Hurst Avenue, the duplex consists of two private residences of about 4,000 sq feet each with spacious yards and backyard studios. The materials were prefabricated beforehand, enabling 6 men to assemble the two houses in just 6 days. Besides efficient construction methods, the homes feature an eco-friendly wood product called Kebony plus energy efficient design, appliances and lighting.1

Bliss House by Bliss SpacesOne of the highlights of the project is the use of an eco friendly wood product called Kebony, which is a more sustainable product than tropical hardwoods.6
Bliss House by Bliss SpacesKebonization is used to treat woods like beech, pine, and maple to make them more durable, harder and more stable using liquids from biowaste material.7
Bliss House by Bliss SpacesKebony is said to have a much lower carbon footprint, producing just 10% of the CO2 emissions compared to Brazilian Clear Fell Ipe wood.8
Bliss House by Bliss SpacesFor the Bliss Houses, Kebony was used throughout the project for exterior cladding, outdoor decking and garden furnishings, such as the post box, garden gates and refuse bin stores.9
