Manchester-based Lazerian just unveiled a stellar set of Paper Light Shades named after the stars that define the vertices, which make up the Northern hemisphere’s Summer Triangle – Altair, Deneb and Vega. Intricate, ephemeral, and biodegradable, these brilliant hanging luminaires by Liam Hopkins are a great new example of origami lighting.

Made by laser-cutting and hand-folding paper, these origami celestial lamps are beautiful and light. These celestial luminaires were launched just a few days ago at the Designers Block‘s space within the Interiors UK Trade Show in Birmingham. If you liked Altair, Deneb, and Vega intricate folding, you can also checkout  Lazerian’s stunning recycled cardboard bench here, also inspired by natural forms.
