- It’s always a good idea to have extra seating on hand – you never know who’s going to crash your holiday party. But don’t see an extra chair as a battle for space – created by Kulla Design, the 50% Sawdust is a convenient and compact stool that’s been formed from a mixture of sawdust and plastic bags. The inspiration for their stool came from a desire to find new uses for sawdust, while also exploring new ways to interpret the material. Each seat joins plastic and wooden sawdust with heat to create a homogeneous mixture that can be pressed into an aluminum mold and baked into its final form. Each stool also features removable legs, for quick disassembly and storage.
