Recently completed, the Sra Pou Vocational School in Cambodia shows off the use of local and natural materials and provides a space to teach residents of the local community a means of income. Designed and built by a young Finnish architecture firm, Architects Rudanko + Kankkunen, the two story school utilizes local dirt for the red bricks and an open air design to ensure ventilation. Local people received on the job training and built the school entirely by hand.
