Gallery: Amazing Bat Cave Made From 20,000 LEGO Bricks is Lit Up with E...

The ceiling lifts up and the remaining cave is split into three pieces to facilitate easy construction

The Bat Cave is fully furnished with all of Bat Man’s necessities, including bats that hang from the cave ceiling, motorized platforms, a bat mobile, boat, copter and plane, and even a Bat Bicycle for Robin. The cave, which took three months to build, was originally designed for the Emerald City Comicon but it has since made appearances at the Jet City Comic Show and BrickCon 2012 in Seattle.

“Wayne is the driving force behind BrickCon and I [Carlyle] make mobile apps,” according to notes on the Bat Cave’s photostream. Carlyle also used to make models for the film industry. Weighing 100 pounds in some, the Lego Bat Cave roof lifts off, while the remainder can be separated into different sections to facilitate easy transport.
