Located just off of the main road and driveway, the 42-square-meter Remisenpavillon is the first structure seen in the approach to the main house.

Though the building was specifically designed to be large enough for car or tractor parking, it can also be used for other purposes, including firewood storage, office space, or dining.

The Remisenpavillon opens up through two sets of timber doors, one on either side of the dividing fence.

“From afar the pavilion appears as a closed massive cube,” write the architects. “As one approaches, the delicate structure of the hole masonry is visible, around the corner is the wooden wall of floor to ceiling entrance gates.”
