Gallery: Cool Planting Pots Made from Recycled Tires

For all of you green thumbs looking for a way to spice up your garden, we’ve found the perfect way to add a little edge to your delicate backyard blooms. Inspired by the handcrafted recycled tire pots she saw in Pakistan, gardening guru Catherine took the idea back to her home in Southern Tasmania, Australia and started producing the pots for herself. Quickly, Catherine found herself with an envy inducing piece on her hands, and decided to start a business devoted to sustainable, recycled garden wares dubbed UBeauty. Built to last, each pot is extremely durable, lightweight, frost resistant and can be placed indoors or out.

I think it’s neat. Basic capitalism; find a need and provide it. Or the classic model………….good pitching. Their made of rubber which means they won’t shatter or break like real pots made of clay / ceramic. Still aren’t plastic pots better and lighter than rubber. And wouldn’t recycled tires be better off if used to make new tires?
