Dalene Cabin by Tommie WilhelmsenNothing cures the blues like an island holiday - especially one taken in a lovely minimalist home like this one. The Norwegian talent behind the off-grid Hardanger Retreat, Tommie Wilhelmsen, designed this darling Dalene cabin for a summer escape in Østhusvik on Rennesøy Island. A south-facing structure filled with light, the 120 sqm cabin's swooping facade gives it an incredible sense of movement that counterbalances the silence of island life.1
