We are big fans of Reestore here at Inhabitat – over the last year we have showed you Annie, the shopping-cart-turned-chair and Silvana, the washing machine drum-turned-table. Just when we thought their eco-ideas couldn’t get any better, the latest member of the Reestore family has blown us away! Meet “Deborah”, the recycled airplane wing desk!
The desk is made from an aluminum airplane wing that is supported by stainless steel legs and topped with toughened glass. The desk measures 2100mm x 1000mm x 900mm. Originally made as a custom piece for business tycoon Theo Paphitis, Reestore are now making them to order – for those of you lucky enough to spend £2800 ($5000) for a desk that is!
