• Hightseat Pavilion by Prechteck Architecture
In our crazy digital age, many urbanites have lost their connection to nature, which is why Prechteck Architecture wanted to create something dramatic to encourage Romanians to return to the city of Timisoara's urban park. Hence the enigmatic Hightseat Pavilion was born. Although the diamond-shaped structure is intriguing enough to draw in curious visitors, it's not so splashy or out of place that people would inadvertently be distracted from the surrounding natural environment. Instead, by encouraging plants to grow on it, without restriction, it blends in seamlessly with the park. Made up of natural materials and ideal for various applications, the pavilion peers high enough over the tree line that it is the perfect concert venue!
