Escaravox is a Greenhouse-Inspired Pavilion on Wheels in Madrid

    Escaravox is a large-span mobile pavilion made from discarded industrial components such as <a href="http://inhabitat.com/gruningen-botanical-garden-greenhouse-nurtures-bananas-and-papaya-in-switzerland/" target="_blank">greenhouse</a> fabrics and irrigation systems typical of the Almería province. The designers, <a href="http://andresjaque.net/wordpress/proyectos/escaravox/" target="_blank">Andres Jaque Architects</a>, characterized this cultural micro-space as “agro-social infrastructure” that gives a voice to the public. Escaravox pavilion can be booked by the hour.

    The structure is located in Matadero Madrid, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/jordan-eagles-recycles-slaughterhouse-splotchy-blood-into-works-of-art/" target="_blank">former slaughterhouse</a> of the city.
