We have been jumping out of our skin waiting for Section 2 of the High Line to open in New York City, and today we finally got a first look inside! The second section was unveiled during an exclusive press preview, and we were on the scene to bring you photos of the new extension. The expansion was designed by the same amazing team that created the first part, James Corner Field Operations and Diller Scofidio + Renfro, but Section 2 definitely has its own personality. With a thicket of trees, a wildflower field, an elevated flyover, and a lush grassy lawn, Section 2 is truly a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle.
