During the dark winter months many cities around the globe unveil stunning public installations that lift spirits with glowing lights. The Swiss city of Lausanne is currently celebrating the Lausanne Lumières Festival , and one of the most striking installations is a gigantic red knot made from 3,600 LED lights. Created by architecture and design studio Allegory, the "Flux Cocoon" wraps around a bridge where it serves as a brilliant node between two pedestrian paths.
