I can’t believe that an “archi-star” will rebuild the original masterpiece of Vittorio Garatti. It’s a crime! Vittorio Garatti is alive and he represents the best choice that Cuba could have to complete the school!!! Just one question: would Foster be happy if another architect rebuild one of his designed building?

now if only the US would give visas without traumatizing the artists and people of CUBA, same goes to el gobierno Cubano… The arts in Cuba are lifegiving, internal and integral like blood, as we say, “es en mi sangre.” Soy cubana, so artiste, para mi, es lo mismo… how coincidental that my 2 words to post my comment ar “tormaa and Salvation”… I hope that this new center is funded by good people for the good of all people and not, as is often the case, a beautiful place made not for todos cubanos but for la yuma son ricos ( well off foreigners) Quizas the United States will finally realize that Cuba has been strangled not only by jungle vines but of the poverty that came from years of isolation through a hideous embargo. Let our families know each other, let Cuba flourish in the welcome sun of amistad between countries. Neighbors unite. change will come.
