The tower is a favorite amongst the community.

Built as an attraction for tourists, the entire project, including labor, rang in at just under $10,000. The tower has been well received by tourists and locals alike. The structure was meant to contrast with the lush foliage of the surrounding area, and provide a lookout point to the natural area.

The open construction features alternating timber slats, which overlap at the corners, creating Lincoln-Log like corners. The alternating slats also make the entire tower’s innards visible to the outside.  Viewers can see the tower’s spiraling staircase from afar. The stairs, like the double helix of DNA structure, spiral around each other up to the top of the wooden structure. At the top, climbers are greeted by a playful flag awaits, and a gorgeous view of the Czech country side.
