Rustic, Solar-Powered Villa Santa Cruz Goes Off-Grid in Todos Santos, Mexico

Committed to sustainability, the secluded beachfront villa is powered almost entirely off the grid by a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/australia’s-first-carbon-neutral-solar-powered-resort/" target="_blank">private solar array</a>. Guests can dine on fresh veggies grown on site, stroll along the private beach, or take a dip in the solar-heated pool.

    The hacienda hosts only four suites, making the escape a truly private one. Each of the rooms are chock full of reclaimed materials. Salvaged wooden doors from San Miguel de Allende open onto floors tiled with reclaimed mosaic pieces from La Paz.
