But instead they're using what they do best - searching - to help victims and their family members find one another. They've created a simple but effective Person Finder tool that lets people worried about their family members look them up by name. Engadget reports that at the moment, there are only a few thousand records up on the site, but those should still serve as a useful repository of data for missing persons.
