Gallery: Gorgeous Green-Roofed Ninety7 Home Sits Atop Singapore’s Sigla...

The Ninety7 house by Aamer Architects offers resplendent views of Singapore

Ninety7 sits atop Siglap Hill, which offers prominent views of the city. The third floor is set aside for the master bedroom and family room, the second floor accommodates the living and dining area, and the ground floor – with access to a modest swimming pool – is shaded by deep overhangs.

The building features an open plan, and each floor has access to a small terrace that facilitates natural lighting and ventilation. The green roof (although not visible in these images) works along with timber decks help to deflect heat from the interior, further lowering this building’s energy consumption. Although we often favor a more modest, Walden-esque project, we can’t help but feel captivated by the subtle measures taken to make this fancy residence at least a little more eco-friendly.

Looks awesome. Passive is even better and is the future. But why says it green roofed and not show pics of the roof?
