Germans are well-known for their stellar beers, so it’s no wonder that the country is brewing a mix of international designers inspired by the locally bottled beverages. Designed by François-Xavier Loucheur for Kix Studio, the Flaschenlampe is a nouveau lighting piece made out of beer and soda bottles collected off the streets of Berlin. As hip and unique as the city itself, each lamp is a ready-made project assembled with an array of unconventional materials and no glue. As fans of recycled and eco-friendly examples of interior illumination, we can definitely say ‘Prost!’ to that!
