• Mustache Mirror DIY
If you've always wanted one of those awesome mustache mirrors that makes you look like you're blessed with impressive facial hair every time you gaze into it, why not make one yourself with our handy dandy tutorial? We saw the inspiration for our DIY mustache mirror in SkyMall magazine and wondered if it was really necessary to purchase a whole new mirror just to get some handlebar action going on, so we fiddled around a bit and came up with a way to transform any mirror you have into one of these quirky conversation starters! The best part about this How To is that when you're done, the different mustaches you make are removable, so you can stick and unstick them on your mirror as many times as you like and even give yourself multiple mustaches if you must.

MATERIALS:
- A mirror (preferably one you already have) - Fabric paint (we used Tulip non-toxic paint in black) - Mustache templates - A clean, large ziplock bag (you could also use a clean sheet of saran wrap but it's a little more unwieldy because of its self-stick properties) - A damp towel to wipe up any messes

STEP 1:
Decide which mustache types tickle your fancy the most and print them out using these templates. Or you can just as easily freehand your mustaches if you feel confident in your skills! Once your have your mustache templates picked out, overlay your plastic bag or saran wrap piece over them.

STEP 2:
Open up your paint and very carefully start tracing the outline of your mustache. If your paint gets clogged, use a toothpick to unclog it and continue. Once you finish the outline, fill it in with paint. Repeat with all of the other mustaches you want but make sure none of them are too close together on your plastic baggie/saran wrap.

STEP 3:
Let your mustaches dry overnight and then peel them off of your plastic.

Then stick them right onto your mirror in any combination you like!
