Gallery: Inflatable Ark Nova Concert Hall Will Bring Music to Japan’s T...

Internationally renowned artist Anish Kapoor has joined forces with architect Arata Isozaki to design an inflatable concert hall for Japan. The luminous red bubble, called Ark Nova - A Tribute to Higashi Nihon, will tour the parts of Japan that have suffered from the earthquake and tsunami disaster in early March this year.

    It’s a beautiful thing but the sentiment seems to be ‘let them eat cake’. I’m sure the tsunami survivors would look at it and look at the levelled irradiated wasteland which was once their town and wish for ye olde devine wind to blow it out to sea.
