Inhabitat Reports on the Best of Dwell On Design 2010!

This past weekend's <a href="http://dwellondesign.com/">Dwell on Design</a> event was bigger and better than ever before, with over 20,000 attendees pouring into the Los Angeles Convention center to check out the state of the art in modern design. Inhabitat was on-site with our own booth (thanks to <a href="http://www.do-not-touch.com/">Touch</a>) and on-stage during our Design Innovation panel featuring Zoe Melo and Ruth Oh, a judge and designer from this year’s <a href="http://inhabitat.com/springgreening/">Spring Greening Contest</a>. Read on for some of this year's highlights and our favorite sustainable designs from Dwell on Design 2010! Inhabitat set up a booth in collaboration with <a href="http://www.do-not-touch.com/">Touch Studio</a> to showcase the winners of our <a href="http://inhabitat.com/springgreening/">2010 Spring Greening DIY Design Competition</a>.

<a href="http://www.dwellondesign.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=404&amp;Itemid=275">Dwell Outdoor</a> showcased an incredible array of green designs including a <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/2009/12/27/woolly-pocket-living-plant-bag-provides-portable-greenery/">Wooley Pockets Wall</a>.

These suspended strings of air plants welcomed visitors to the <a href="http://www.dwellondesign.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=404&amp;Itemid=275">Dwell Outdoor</a> exhibit.

Dwell on Design 2010 also featured a Modern Family Fun Activity Zone that showcased a great set of kid-friendly designs.

Dyson showcased its sleek new <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/2010/06/22/dyson-aims-to-replace-air-conditioning-with-new-bladeless-fans/">Airblade Fans</a>, which eschew traditional fan blades for their "air multiplier" technology.

<a href="http://reclaimedspace.com/">Reclaimed Space</a> partnered with <a href="http://ecofabulous.com/">EcoFabulous</a> to auction one of their beautiful eco homes on Ebay during the Dwell on Design Show. Proceeds from the auction benefit <a href="http://www.globalgreen.org/">Global Green</a>.

<a href="http://www.methodhome.com/">Method</a> showcased their latest line of eco cleaning supplies.
