Nobody brightens up a dull scene like Karim Rashid. Last December at the Le Marche exhibition held in Cairo, he presented the Komb House - a super colorful showcase of the most cutting edge eco-technologies available. Fusing traditional Islamic design principles with contemporary sustainable design, including the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficient appliances, the Egyptian master demonstrated once again that being eco-friendly is definitely cool!
