Gallery: Lee Jae-Hyo Turns Ordinary Pi...

Using little more than wood and some bolts and nails, Jae-Hyo spends hours laboring over his creations

Lee Jae-Hyo’s work is on display in temporary and permanent collections throughout the planet – in cities as far afield as London and Washington DC – and it’s easy to see why. Using nothing more complicated than wood, along with other simple instruments such as stainless steel nails, he creates larger-than-life sculptures that are dazzling in their scope.

In addition to these wooden spheres, Jae-Hyo makes furniture with a similar material palette, displaying a restraint and patience that few artists today possess. Please visit Jae-Hyo’s website to get a better sense of his extraordinary range.
