    @carlos I did a little more research and there is some indication that tungsten (the filament element) has more negative health effects than previously believed.

    los bulbos son adecuados, unicamente estan hechos de vidrio y el elemento de iluminacion de metal, a diferencia de los tubos ahorradores que contienen rastros de mercurio y fosforo en su superficie interior.

    I am skeptical that a light bulb is food-safe or could be cleaned enough to serve in that capacity.

    Clever idea, but risky.
