BMW Group Pavilion designed by British architecture firm Serie, is located on an elevated platform over the Waterworks River, between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre. The two-story superstructure is built of steel with high recycled content, and uses less carbon-intensive materials such as concrete.

    Recycled building elements are vital to us. Good going with that. Let’s hope the buildings get used to the max. I’ll never forget visiting Expo ’67 site in Montreal and seeing it abandoned. What’s the point of all that show and then wasting the fabulous buildings?
