I was wondering if you got any ideas for the rest of the washing machine?? I need to write an essay on the reuse/recycling of two major components of a washing machine. Though I can find many suggestions for the drum I’m struggling with the rest of the machine. I also wondered if its possible to remove the drum without damaging the cube shape?? Could the steal frame be used as a planter box, raised vegetable garden? Hopefully you got some suggestions. By the way loved the lighting idea!

Dryer drums are nice bits to also salvage for various industrial design themed furniture.
