Method Homes Drops a New Prefab House in Glacier, Washington

    <a href="http://inhabitat.com/2008/08/01/method-homes-completed-cabin/" target="_blank">Method Homes</a> is dropping prefabs like they're hot -- and this recently installed <a href="http://methodhomes.net/modular-home-project-examples/m2-balance-custom-prefab.html" target="_blank">custom M2</a> in Glacier, WA may be their most stunning house yet. The M2 home is part of their <a href="http://methodhomes.net/green-prefab-home-models/self-contained-prefab-home.html" target="_blank">SML Series</a>, which features three units of different sizes that can be combined in a multitude of ways. The Washington home is composed of two M-series units combined by a site-built bridge. As with all Method Homes, this one was designed to LEED Gold certification and features environmentally-friendly materials, energy-efficient appliances, resource efficiency, and a super tight building envelope.
